SCADask is an applied research studio that works from inside the creative economy, alongside the students entering it and the faculty teaching them. Its design-centered research examines the future of commerce, creativity, culture, and technology. From original research for clients to internal research and development, SCADask produces the evidence leaders act on. Initiatives include the university's annual AI Summit and SCAD Signal, a podcast that features in-depth discussion with industry insiders. SCADask research and award-winning publications like The Future of the American Dream and the AI Insights 2026 report have been featured in USA Today, Fast Company, Paste Magazine, AP News, Yahoo!
